⚠ Chrome & Metalized Films Require Professional Installation
Disclaimer
Designed for partial wrapping applications only.
Chrome and metalized films are primarily intended for accent elements, detailing, and relatively flat surfaces. Full vehicle wraps are not recommended due to the limited stretchability and structural characteristics of the metalized layer.
The images, colors, and finishes displayed on screen are approximate. For accurate color evaluation, always refer to the physical color swatch. Slight color variations may occur between production batches. For consistent appearance during installation, rolls from the same production LOT number should be used within a single project.
Metalized films require careful handling. Excessive stretching, aggressive repositioning, strong heating, or crumpling of the film may permanently alter the reflective structure of the metalized layer. Once distorted, the visual appearance cannot be restored.
Due to the nature of chrome and metalized finishes, minor surface scratches or micro-marks may occur during installation or normal use. Surface scratching is considered a characteristic of this material and is not covered under warranty.
Professional installation by experienced installers familiar with metalized films is strongly recommended.
Installation & Performance Notes
Chrome films have a very limited stretch capability (approximately 2–5%). Excessive stretching or overheating may damage the metalized layer and affect the final appearance.
Color and reflectivity may vary depending on lighting conditions, viewing angles, and environmental surroundings. Chrome finishes may appear softer or slightly “milky” in natural light compared to high-contrast studio photography.
For best results:
- Use dry installation only
- Use squeegees with soft buffers to minimize surface marks
- Apply gentle, controlled pressure during installation
- Steam vacuum or IR heater may assist controlled heating when required
Laminating chrome films may help improve durability and surface protection in certain applications.
Removal & Adhesive Notice
Chrome films may leave adhesive residue of up to approximately 30% depending on installation conditions, heat exposure, and removal method.
Cold removal is recommended. Removing the film while hot may increase adhesive residue.
Durability Notice
Outdoor durability may vary depending on climate conditions such as UV exposure, temperature, humidity, and pollution levels.
For horizontal surfaces, expected outdoor durability may be up to approximately 1 year, depending on environmental exposure.
Before purchasing or installing the product, the customer or installer must determine the product’s suitability for the intended application.
